A female android battles her evil creator's forces as a mysterious superhero. Cybersix is the name of genetically created female made by the malicious Dr.Von Reichter. She is one of many individuals in the "Cyber-series" who are all ultimately terminated because of their innate humanity and sense of good. However, before she can be destroyed, she escapes from Von Reichter and hides in regular society disguised as a male high school teacher, Adrian Seidelman. She eventually teams up with "Data 7", another of Von Reichter's creations. Data 7 is, in fact, her brother Cyber 29, who was killed in an accident and had his consciousness transplanted into a panther. Together, they work to thwart the plans of Von Reichter, his son Jose and their genetic mutation army. Throughout, Cybersix tries to maintain her secret identity from her close friend and co-worker, Lucas Amato. As well, she constantly debates her existence and what it all means, since she knows full well that she is not actually human, but a genetic creation. As far as I know, Cybersix is not based on a comic book. But the makers of Cybersix have created a rich and intricate world that is as ingenious and exciting as those of Superman and Batman.

Cybersix is a mysterious fembot in a tight leather suit and an extremely large cape who is able to leap tall buildings in a single bound. She has a sidekick Dataseven, a black panther, who helps her fight the terror of an evil man, whose evil ploys are carried out by his pre-pubescent, bumbling, but equally evil son, and an army of Frankensteinesque goons.

While I admit this all sounds rather silly, the story is actually quite engrossing, and the quality of the animation is second to none. It is also very family-friendly. A ten-year-old could follow the story, but it doesn't patronize its younger audience; and a forty-year-old could appreciate the story without its feeling watered-down.

All in all, Cybersix is one of the best superheroes television has ever seen. Unfortunately, as of this writing, it is not available in the U.S.A. If you're ever in Canada, definitely check it out on Teletoon. This cartoon is by far one of the best shows I have seen. The animation is beautiful, and the story is original and cool. The show is about a cyborg named Cybersix, who escapes her evil creator, and disguises herself as a male teacher at the local Highschool. When her creator, Von Reichter discovers that she is alive, he uses his other creations to try and destroy Cybersix. The cartoon is filled with action, danger, comedy, and romance. This is a must see for everyone, an A+ Cartoon.
